About your mentor

I help leaders and teams turn psychological insight into performance, behaviour, and perspective change that holds up under real pressure. My grounding is a Master of Science in Coaching Psychology, various psychometric assessment certifications, and an ICF PCC accreditation currently in progress.

My approach is built and tested through four years coaching within the Royal Australian Navy's Warfare Training division, one of the most high-stakes, regulated environments a leader can operate in. Through my consultancy, FVL&D, I bring that same rigour to psychometric-based coaching and facilitation, including Emotional Intelligence, Strengths, Personality, 360°, Mental Toughness, Behaviour and Team Performance tools, designed to produce development that's measurable, not just memorable.

Sessions

  • Find Your Fit: A Free Coaching Priorities & Personality Report Exploration Call

    30 min

Not sure where to start, or which personality report best supports your development goals? This free 30-minute call is a chance to talk through your growth priorities together, and work out which tool, Strengths, Emotional Intelligence, Behaviour, or another, will give you the most useful value and insight for where you're headed. Great if: Maybe you know development matters but aren't sure which tool or starting point is right. You'll leave with: • Clarity on what's actually driving your development priorities right now, not just which tool sounds interesting • A clear recommendation on which report (or combination) would best support your specific goals, and why • A coach's early read on where a psychometric debrief is likely to be most useful for you, based on what you share • A plain-language overview of what each report actually measures and delivers, so you can choose with confidence • No cost and no obligation: just a clear next step if and when you're ready to engage

  • Beyond Behaviour: DISC Advanced Leadership Debrief with a Certified Coach

    60 min

You've likely done or heard about a basic DISC test before, but this goes further! Discover both your Natural Style (your default mode) and Adjusted Style (how you lead at work today) across Dominance, Influencing, Steadiness and Conscientiousness. Work with a coach to consider how these help and hinder your leadership. Great if: You've done a DISC test before, but never had it translated into real leadership behaviour. You'll leave with: • Clarity on the gap between your Natural Style and your Adjusted Style, what's driving it and whether or not these adjustments are working for you. • A coach's read on which of your natural strengths is most likely to tip into a liability under pressure or deadline • One or two specific ways to flex your style with a colleague or direct report whose natural style pulls in a different direction to yours • A practical reference for adapting how you communicate, delegate, motivate and correct across every DISC style on your team, not just your own • A comprehensive 42-page personalised report: your Natural and Adjusted styles mapped across DISC Advanced's 44-zone behavioural chart, a 12-part interrelated behaviour analysis, and practical guides for leading every style around you

  • Close the Gap: Emotional Intelligence 360° debrief with a Certified Coach

    120 min

Discover how your manager, peers and direct reports each experience your emotional intelligence as a leader, and where those views differ. This session unpacks your Genos EI 360 report, measuring six leadership competencies: Self-Awareness, Awareness of Others, Authenticity, Emotional Reasoning, Self-Management and Inspiring Performance. Great if: You're ready for your next step as a leader, and want the full picture before you take it. You'll leave with: • Clarity on your leadership impact and how your manager, peers and direct reports see you differently, and where they agree • A thorough analysis and reflection on your strengths and development areas • A coach's read on which competency, if developed, would best support your leadership growth aspirations • A prioritised starting point: the one or two behaviours most likely to make the biggest impact for your most important rater group, with a clear pathway to keep developing from there • A dedicated action plan for each rater category (manager, peer, direct report), so you know exactly who to follow up with and how • A comprehensive 30+ page personalised report: your ratings across six leadership competencies benchmarked separately against your manager, peers and direct reports, verbatim qualitative feedback from each group (sample below).

  • Lead From Your Strengths: CliftonStrengths for Leaders debrief with a Coach

    90 min

Discover how your top 10 CliftonStrengths combine to shape your leadership: where they give you an edge, and where they might work against you. This session unpacks your personalised report, measuring your talent themes across four domains: Executing, Influencing, Relationship Building and Strategic Thinking. Great if: You have a sense of your talents and strengths but want to put them to work leading others. You'll leave with • Clarity on how your specific combination of strengths plays out across People, Decisions, Purpose and Performance • One or two practical adjustments to trial with your team straight away • A coach's read on where a strength is likely to be overused under pressure, and how to manage that before it costs you • Pointers to keep developing your leadership strengths after the session ends • A comprehensive 25-page personalised report: your top 10 themes, a leadership narrative, theme-by-theme leadership applications, and a Four Pillars analysis of People, Decisions, Purpose and Performance (a sample is provided below) • Ongoing access to Gallup CliftonStrength's learning management system, with tailored strengths activities.

  • Build Your Resilience: Mental Toughness Report Debrief with a Certified Coach

    90 min

Discover how you respond to pressure, setbacks and change, not how you think you do. In this session we unpacks your MTQPlus report, exploring the four components of Mental Toughness: Control, Commitment, Challenge and Confidence. Great if: You want to further build your resilience under real pressure, deal more effectively with challenges, irrespective of circumstance. You'll leave with: • Clarity on which of the 4Cs: Control, Commitment, Challenge or Confidence is most holding back your performance under real pressure • A coach's read on how your mental toughness profile is likely to show up in high-stakes moments • Development techniques, drawn directly from your own results, to strengthen your biggest pressure point • A set of tailored development suggestions for each of your eight underlying components, ready to keep building beyond the session • A comprehensive 16-page personalised report: your scores across the 4Cs and eight underlying components, with development suggestions for each
